Salary Range: £25,186 - £26,244 (actual salary £16,335 - £17,021 per annum)

Work Location: Orchard Close, Hayling Island

Hours per week: 24

Contract Type: Permanent

The Role:

Join our friendly team as an Administrative Officer at Orchard Close, where we provide a respite service for adults with learning and/or physical disabilities.

As an integral part of our small supportive team, you’ll carry out vital administrative tasks at the home, ensuring the smooth running of our service.

What you’ll do:

Monitor and respond to emails and phone calls.
Act as first point of contact for all visitors and staff.
Build and establish positive working relationships with staff and residents.
Resolve any queries and escalate where required.
Data checking and monitoring, including working with spreadsheets.
Take minutes at staff meetings.
Support the registered manager with the day to day running of the service.

What we’re looking for:

Previous experience delivering a range of administrative activities.
Team player with a customer-focused approach.
Strong communication skills.
Resilient and adaptable to changing demands, remaining calm and professional.
Good IT skills, especially MO365 (Word, Outlook, Excel) and willing to develop these further.
Excellent attention to detail, organisation and prioritisation skills.
Shows patience, compassion, and empathy in all interactions. You’ll treat service users with dignity and respect.
