Full job description

Schools Advisory Service are a national provider of insurance to schools. Our market leading product provides absence protection and health and wellbeing services to thousands of school employee’s. We are looking to recruit a Customer Account Manager to join our multiskilled Client Support team.

The role will be to manage your own individual book of clients; supporting them throughout their policy; taking them through the renewal of their policy each year; and recognising any New Business sales opportunities.

Based at our South Normanton head office we can offer the successful candidate a full-time position working 8:30am – 4:30pm, Monday to Friday.

Your starting salary will be £30,000.00, with a 12 month probation period.

You will undertake a number of activities on a daily basis involving;

Managing your own book of SAS accounts.
Handling the renewal process of existing clients.
Phone and email contact with our existing clients to build on relationships.
Maintaining quality and customer service standards.
Handling any policy queries that arise from customers.
General office administration duties.
Calculating a quotation for renewals and issuing this to the client.
Identifying any NB sales opportunities from our existing clients.

What you’ll have:

The ability to empathise and understand the needs of a customer.
Willingness to take initiative to solve problems.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Accuracy and attention to detail.
Passion for working in a lively and collaborative team.
The ability to remain calm and organised during busy periods in a pressurised environment.

We’d be looking for someone with at least 1 years’ worth of experience in a customer service/account manager role.
