Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Wood Machinist to join our dynamic skilled team in manufacturing doors and frames for bespoke interior furniture . In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining woodworking machinery to produce high-quality wood components and finished products.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative kitchen & furniture projects that values craftsmanship, safety, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Operate a variety of woodworking machines including saws, planers, and sanders to shape and finish wood materials according to specifications
Fabricate custom parts by measuring, cutting, shaping, and assembling wood pieces with hand tools and power tools
Handle materials safely within the warehouse environment, ensuring proper storage, movement, and inventory control of raw materials and finished products
Assist with tooling setup, maintenance, and calibration to optimize machine performance and product quality
Perform basic math calculations for measurements, tolerances, and material estimations during fabrication processes
Collaborate with team members on assembly projects, and quality inspections to meet project deadlines

Requirements

Proven experience in woodworking fabrication or as a Wood Machinist with a strong mechanical aptitude
Skilled in operating hand tools, power tools,saws, and other equipment
Understanding of materials handling procedures within a warehouse setting for efficient workflow management.

Preferred qualifications include experience with assembly processes, tooling management, as well as familiarity with warehouse operations. Candidates with a background in materials handling or previous manufacturing experience will find this role especially rewarding.
