Full job description

Experienced Dog Grooming Stylist (Part-Time – 24 Hours per Week)

We’re looking for an experienced and passionate Dog Grooming Stylist to join our friendly, busy salon.

This is a 24 hour per week position, with the potential for additional hours in the future for the right candidate.

About the role

You’ll be working in a busy salon with an established client base, so we’re looking for someone who is confident, efficient and able to work independently to a high standard.

The ideal candidate will:

Be an experienced dog groomer with excellent breed knowledge.
Be confident grooming all breeds, coat types and sizes to a high standard.
Be able to confidently complete full grooms from start to finish independently.
Have excellent handling skills and be calm, patient and compassionate with dogs.
Be confident managing the salon and working alone when required.
Be organised, reliable and able to manage a busy workload.
Provide excellent customer service and build strong relationships with clients.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and salon presentation.
Have a genuine passion for dog welfare and grooming.
