Amazon Quick Ship Warehouse Associate
Job Overview
As an Amazon Quick Ship Warehouse Associate, you’ll enhance the customer shopping experience by working at the core of Amazon’s fastest delivery operation. Youll work in a warehouse environment, similar in size to a supermarket, where customers can order groceries and everyday essentials for quick delivery. Youll work alongside team members and delivery partners to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service. The environment includes room temperature spaces, with walk-in refrigeration and freezer spaces. We will provide appropriate safety gear for all work areas.
Basic Job Requirements
- Be 18 years or older
- Understand and follow instructions in English
- Lift up to 23kg
- Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Work in room temperatures, with walk-in refrigerators (1°C) and freezers (-22°C)
- Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around
- Go up and down stairs (where applicable)
- Handle a variety of products including everyday essentials, as well as groceries (produce, alcohol, and meat—including prepackaged pork and seafood)
- Be flexible to work at various locations within a 45-minute travel time of the normal place of work, based on operational needs and shift availability.

- Prepare customer orders for quick delivery
- Maintain high attention to detail and accuracy
- Use smartphones and handheld devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders
- Receive and process lorry deliveries
- Stock shelves and manage inventory
- Process customer returns
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace
- Collaborate with team members and delivery partners to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service
Schedule Options
- Shift Options. Early Morning, Daytime, Evening, and Overnight hours.
- Weekly Hours. Full-Time (40 hours), Reduced-Time (30-39 hours), Part-Time (20-29 hours), or Flex-Time (0-19 hours).
- Schedule Flexibility.Choose from a Fixed weekly schedule or Flexible Schedules.
- Week Hours. Your schedule follows a rotational pattern, and we share it on a weekly basis so you can plan ahead. From time to time, your schedule may change. When that happens, heres what to expect: If your working days or shift time changes significantly (more than 2 hours) — at least 7 days notice If your shift time changes slightly (up to 2 hours) — at least 24 hours notice
- Overtime opportunities. When customer demand increases, you may have the chance to work additional days.
- Flexible locations. Opportunity to work at various sites within a 45 minute travel from your primary site. Any additional travel time beyond your usual commute is paid.

- Equipment. You’ll be working around moving equipment – PIT equipment, such as forklifts, reach trucks, and order pickers, as well as mobile carts, dollies, and rolling cages.
- Physical Activity. Some activities may require standing in one place for long periods, walking around, or climbing stairs.

- Temperature. Climate-controlled facilities maintain temperatures between 15°C and 32°C in most areas.

- Dress code. Relaxed and comfortable. Closed-toe shoes required.
