Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Massage Therapist to join our chiropractic clinic team. On a self employed basis. The successful candidate will provide high-quality massage treatments to clients, promoting relaxation, healing, and overall well-being. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about health and holistic therapies to develop their skills within a supportive environment. The position is suitable for experienced practitioner.

Duties

Deliver customised massage therapies tailored to individual client needs, including deep tissue and sports massage.
Conduct client consultations to assess their health history and specific requirements before treatment.
Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming treatment environment in accordance with hygiene standards and health regulations.
Keep accurate records of treatments provided and client progress in compliance with confidentiality policies.
Promote additional wellness services and products where appropriate to enhance client experience.
Manage appointment schedules efficiently to minimise wait times and optimise client flow.
Stay informed about new massage techniques and industry best practices through ongoing professional development.

Requirements

recognised qualification in Massage Therapy or an equivalent recognised certification and must have their own insurance.
Proven experience in delivering various massage techniques is essential.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to listen attentively and respond empathetically to clients’ needs.
Strong organisational skills to manage appointments effectively and maintain accurate records.
Ability to work flexibly within scheduled hours, including evenings or weekends.
A professional attitude with a commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and confidentiality.
A genuine interest in promoting health and wellness through holistic therapies.

This role is ideal for motivated individuals seeking to advance their career in therapeutic massage within a friendly and professional setting.

Experience:

Massage Therapy: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

Certificate in Insurance and FHT or equivalent registration (required)
