Catering Assistant

As part of the Catering Team, your role will include a variety of tasks to help produce top class food and ensure a high-quality dining experience for the residents. What Chiswick Nursing Centre want above all are genuinely kind, sympathetic people, who will really get a thrill from enhancing the happiness and wellbeing of our residents.

£13.45 per hour
28.5 hours per week
Working three 9.5-hour shifts per week between 09.30-19.00, four days off, on a seven-day rota basis.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Nursing Home to work as a Catering Assistant.

As part of the Catering Team, your role is to ensure that residents receive safe, nutritious, appetising meals that meet individual dietary, cultural and clinical needs resulting in a high-quality dining experience for the residents.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Support the supervisors to manage and deliver all catering services in the home using the Apetito cook chill system
Work as part of a team and independently
Support cost-effective stock control to minimise waste
Ensure the kitchen is kept clean and tidy, in line with regulatory and legislative requirements.
