Full job description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our small but growing team as an Office Administrator / Sales Assistant.

This is a varied office-based role that offers the opportunity to learn all aspects of our business while developing valuable administration, customer service and sales skills. The successful candidate will receive full training and, for the right person, there will be opportunities to progress into a more sales-focused role.

The Role Involves

Answering incoming telephone calls and dealing with customer enquiries
Monitor and respond to online chat from our websites
Responding to customer emails professionally and promptly.
Processing customer orders and accurately inputting sales and order data.
Preparing quotations and supporting the sales process.
Reaching out to prospective customers to introduce our products and generate new business opportunities.
Following up customer enquiries and maintaining customer records.
Liaising with colleagues to ensure orders are processed efficiently.
General office administration and support for the wider team.
Assisting with other day-to-day office duties as required.

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

Friendly, confident and enjoys speaking with people.
Organised with excellent attention to detail.
Computer literate and comfortable using Microsoft Office.
Eager to learn and develop new skills.
Positive, reliable and willing to work as part of a small team.
Interested in building a long-term career with opportunities to progress.

Previous office or customer service experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided.

What We Offer

£24,000 starting salary.
Monday to Friday working hours (9am–4:30pm).
20 days paid holiday
