Full job description

We’re hiring a curious and capable Vibe Coder / AI Product Builder to help turn client problems, rough ideas and workflow opportunities into useful working products.

This is not a traditional software developer role. We are looking for a creative problem-solver who can use modern AI-assisted tools to build first versions quickly, test ideas in the real world and improve them through feedback.

You do not need a computer science degree or years of conventional development experience. We care more about what you can create, how you approach unfamiliar problems and how quickly you learn. You may already be using tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, Replit, Lovable, APIs or no-code and low-code platforms to build apps, dashboards, automations, bots or internal tools.

You could be exploring a client challenge, shaping a workflow, creating an AI-first mock-up, building a working prototype, testing an app with users or improving a product after launch.

Working pattern and flexibility

37.5 hours across five days, Monday to Friday.

Core office hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00–15:00 (25 hours).

A further 12.5 flexible hours to be worked around the core hours.

This is a hybrid role, with specific office days at our premises in Meltham, West Yorkshire, to be agreed. Regular office attendance will be required, so the role is not suitable for fully remote working.

Working hours may occasionally need to be adjusted around client meetings, presentations, launches and wider business requirements.

What you’ll be doing

Support and increasingly lead conversations with clients to understand their goals, constraints and what is realistically deliverable.
Turn rough ideas and agreed workflows into clear AI-first mock-ups and working prototypes.
Use modern AI coding tools, no-code and low-code platforms, APIs and other AI-enabled systems to build useful first versions quickly.
Create apps, tools, dashboards, forms, workflows, automations, assistants and internal systems.
Present mock-ups and early versions to clients, explaining the proposed approach, scope and trade-offs clearly.
Work with clients and colleagues to test ideas, gather feedback and improve what works.
Stop or rethink ideas that do not create enough value rather than continuing to build for the sake of it.
Hand more complex or approved products into development where needed and stay involved through build and refinement.
Test apps and workflow solutions thoroughly, identifying bugs, gaps and usability issues.
Retest fixes and help make sure products are ready for client review and launch.
Create training videos, guides, walkthroughs and client-facing support content.
Support minor fixes, small changes and iterative improvements after launch.
Work closely with consulting, delivery and development colleagues to keep products useful, scope controlled and progress clear.

What we’re looking for

A creative and natural problem-solver who enjoys turning rough ideas into practical solutions.
Someone who can work things out without needing every task or instruction perfectly defined.
Hands-on experience using AI-assisted tools to build something useful.
Evidence of things you have created, such as apps, websites, dashboards, bots, workflows, automations, prototypes or internal tools.
Confidence experimenting with tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, Replit, Lovable, no-code or low-code platforms and APIs.
A quick learner who is comfortable working in a fast-moving area where not every answer is already known.
Strong people and communication skills, with the confidence to build trust with clients and colleagues.
The ability to listen well, ask useful questions and understand the real problem behind a request.
Commercial curiosity and an interest in whether a product is genuinely useful, not just technically interesting.
Good attention to detail and the ability to spot problems before they become client issues.
The ability to explain ideas, trade-offs and instructions clearly to non-technical people.
A practical, organised and collaborative working style.
Comfort receiving feedback, changing direction and improving work quickly.
An interest in AI, automation, digital products and how they can be applied inside real organisations.

Experience in digital products, automation, operations, consulting, customer success, QA, project delivery or technical support would be useful, but is not essential.

We are more interested in attitude, capability and proof of what you can build than formal qualifications, traditional coding experience or a polished CV. You may not have held this exact job title before, but you could still be a strong fit if you are curious, resourceful, commercially minded and comfortable using AI to turn ideas into working products.

Pay: £26,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
