Overview

Join our dynamic team as an Ofsted Registered Manager, where your leadership will shape the quality and standards of early years education and childcare services. In this vital role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations, and foster an environment of continuous improvement. Your expertise will help create a safe, nurturing, and enriching setting for children to thrive while maintaining the highest standards of quality assurance. This is an exciting opportunity to lead with passion, drive excellence, and make a lasting impact on young lives and their families.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the day-to-day running of the childcare setting in accordance with Ofsted registration requirements.
Ensure all policies and procedures are up-to-date, compliant, and effectively implemented across the service.
Conduct regular quality assurance audits to monitor standards of care, safety, and educational provision.
Support staff development through coaching, supervision, and training initiatives to uphold high-quality practice.
Maintain comprehensive records related to children's progress, staff qualifications, health & safety checks, and regulatory compliance.
Prepare for Ofsted inspections by ensuring readiness and demonstrating continuous improvement efforts.
Foster strong relationships with children, parents, staff, and external agencies to promote a positive community environment.

Requirements

Hold a valid Ofsted registration as a Manager or be eligible to register immediately upon appointment.
Proven experience managing early years or childcare settings with a strong understanding of Ofsted regulations and inspection processes.
Demonstrate excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
Possess strong knowledge of quality assurance practices within early childhood education.
Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with staff, parents, children, and regulatory bodies.
Ability to implement policies that promote safety, inclusion, and high standards of care.
A relevant qualification in early childhood education or management (e.g., Level 3 or higher in childcare/education).
