The role

As Rooms Division Manager, you will lead the Front Office and Housekeeping teams, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, luxury presentation standards and operational excellence across the hotel. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for driving service quality, team development, departmental performance and collaboration across the business to deliver memorable experiences for every guest.

Lead the daily operation of Front Office, Housekeeping, Nights and Public Areas teams.

Drive exceptional guest satisfaction and maintain SLH luxury brand standards.

Conduct regular inspections to ensure rooms and public areas meet the highest presentation standards.

Recruit, train, coach and develop high-performing teams.

Manage departmental rotas, payroll, labour costs and stock control.

Oversee guest arrivals, departures, night audit and guest service procedures.

Monitor guest feedback and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, COSHH and company policies.

About you

You are an experienced hospitality leader with a passion for guest service, team development and operational excellence. You thrive in a hands-on environment, lead by example and have a proven ability to inspire teams while maintaining high standards within a luxury hotel setting.

Previous Rooms Division, Front Office or Housekeeping management experience within a luxury hotel.

Strong leadership skills with a hands-on approach to operational delivery.

Experience conducting team meetings, coaching sessions and one-to-one reviews.

Proven experience managing rotas, payroll and departmental budgets.

Ability to implement cost-control measures while maintaining service quality.

Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook; experience with Fourth Hospitality, HMS, SevenRooms or Zonal is advantageous.
