Full job description

As a Sales Support Specialist, you'll play a key role in supporting the sales function by ensuring the efficient execution of sales administration, quoting, and customer communication activities. You will work closely with Sales, Service, and Procurement teams to deliver a seamless experience for both contracted and non-contracted customers.

This role is central to enabling revenue growth by maintaining accurate systems, generating timely and accurate quotes, and supporting transactional renewals across hardware, software, and licensing. You will ensure all sales operations run smoothly, allowing Account Managers and Sales teams to focus on strategic customer engagement and growth.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Operations & Administration

\u00b7 Manage day-to-day sales administration tasks to support the wider Sales team

\u00b7 Maintain accurate and up-to-date records across CRM and internal systems

\u00b7 Process sales orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness

Quoting & Renewals

\u00b7 Generate and issue quotes for hardware, software, and licensing requests

\u00b7 Manage renewal of transactional items, ensuring timely engagement with customers

\u00b7 Liaise with suppliers and procurement to obtain competitive pricing

Customer Communication

\u00b7 Act as a key point of contact for non-contracted customers, handling inbound enquiries

\u00b7 Provide timely and professional responses to sales queries and requests

Order Management & Delivery Support

\u00b7 Process approved quotes and ensure robust handover to procurement and delivery teams

\u00b7 Support the coordination of hardware, software, and licensing delivery on transactional orders

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

\u00b7 Work cross-functionally with Sales, Technical, Procurement, Finance, and Service teams

\u00b7 Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and customer experience

\u00b7 Support wider sales initiatives and projects as required

Skills & Experience

\u00b7 Experience in a sales support, sales administration, or similar operational role

\u00b7 Experience working within IT Managed Services or a technology-focused environment (preferred)

\u00b7 Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks

\u00b7 Experience generating quotes and managing order processing workflows

\u00b7 Customer-focused with excellent written and verbal communication skills

\u00b7 Comfortable working with CRM systems (Autotask) and Microsoft Office tools

\u00b7 High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and data integrity
