An excellent opportunity for an experienced nurse-qualified manager to lead a purpose-designed 60-bed nursing, dementia and residential care home in Camden.

Job Description
As a Clinical Service Manager, you will lead a well-established care home in Camden, NW5, supporting high-quality care delivery across a 60-bed nursing, dementia and residential service. The nursing home is purpose-designed and offers a range of facilities including en-suite rooms, full wheelchair access, passenger lift, secure garden, internet access and close links to local shops, amenities and public transport. This role would suit an experienced nurse-qualified manager who is confident managing a large care service, supporting clinical and care teams, maintaining standards and ensuring residents receive safe, person-centred care. With a full-time Clinical Deputy Manager already in post, this is a strong opportunity to join a supportive service where clinical leadership, team development and resident wellbeing are central to everyday practice.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the day-to-day management of a large nursing, dementia and residential care service
Ensure high standards of safe, person-centred care across the home
Provide visible clinical leadership and guidance to nursing and care teams
Support, develop and motivate qualified nurses, healthcare assistants and support staff
Work closely with the Clinical Deputy Manager to maintain effective operational oversight
Promote residents’ dignity, wellbeing, comfort and quality of life
Maintain compliance with relevant care standards, policies and regulatory expectations
Oversee care planning, risk management, documentation and quality monitoring
Build strong working relationships with residents, families, GPs and healthcare professionals
Contribute to a warm, professional and supportive care home culture

Requirements

Sponsorship / right to work: Must have the right to work in the UK; sponsorship availability has not been specified
Qualification: Nurse qualified with an active NMC PIN
Experience level: Previous experience managing a large care service
Specialism: Nursing home leadership, with experience across nursing and residential care
Capability: Confident leading clinical standards, compliance, care quality and team performance
Soft skill: Warm, professional and supportive leadership style with strong communication skills
Independence: Able to manage operational priorities, make sound decisions and lead with accountability
