Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Bookkeeper/Administrator to join our dynamic team! In this vital role, you will manage financial records, ensure accurate bookkeeping, and support administrative functions that keep our operations running smoothly. Your energetic approach and keen eye for detail will help us maintain efficient financial processes and a well-organized workplace. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in accounting software and administrative management within a collaborative environment.

Duties

Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero
Process accounts payable and receivable transactions promptly and accurately
Reconcile bank statements and ensure all financial data is up-to-date and correct
Assist with payroll processing and employee expense reports
Manage general administrative tasks including filing, correspondence, and scheduling appointments
Support month-end closing activities by preparing reports and summaries
Collaborate with external accountants or auditors during financial reviews or audits

Experience

Prior experience working with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero is highly preferred
Familiarity with accounts payable processes and managing invoices
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
Basic understanding of bookkeeping principles and financial documentation standards
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Previous administrative experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided for specific software tools
