Are you ready to join a small, dynamic team and help us revolutionise the accounting world?

Role: Client Accountant (Full-Time)

Location: WFH, with one weekly in-person meeting based in Hatfield

As our new Client Accountant, you’ll be at the heart of our client relationships, delivering top-notch service and clear, effective financial solutions.

What You'll Do:

Finalise accounts and corporation tax returns like a pro.
Prepare monthly management accounts with insightful commentary.
Lead quarterly strategy sessions and keep our clients on track.
Review annual salaries and dividends.
Break down complex accounting issues in simple terms for our clients.
Finalise VAT and self-assessment returns with accuracy.
Welcome new clients and explain tax rules & options.
Provide proactive tax planning and discuss higher rate projections.
Manage FreeAgent & xero queries and new client transfers.
Explore additional add-ons and services to help clients grow their businesses.

What We’re Looking For:

3+ years of experience managing your own client portfolio.
Part-Qualified, Qualified, or QBE (ACA, ACCA, ICAEW).
Deep knowledge of VAT, personal tax, corporation tax, and limited company accounts.
Outstanding communication skills with a knack for making the complex simple.
Experience with tech and CRM systems.
3 years Xero experience is a must-have! FreeAgent and TaxCalc knowledge is a bonus.
Keen attention to detail, superb time management skills, and experience in training junior staff.
Someone eager to explore additional add-ons and services to provide more value to clients.
A self-starter who takes the initiative and drives things forward without waiting to be asked.
