Full job description

We are looking for an experienced florist to join our friendly, busy and creative team.

The successful applicant must be naturally creative, a self motivated individual with a good work ethic.

You must be an enthusiastic team member as well as having the ability to work on their own initiative.

Excellent customer service and communication skills are essential as well as having exceptional attention to detail.

You must be able to work well and be flexible during busy peak periods and thrive under pressure.

The successful candidate will have at least 2 Years florist Experience within a shop environment including weddings and funeral work. We do recognise experience and talent as well as qualifications so NVQs are not necessary.

You will be required to work at both of our shops in Thames Ditton (The Secret Garden) and in Claygate (The Claygate Flower House). This is a permanent, part-time role including Saturdays.

Full UK driving license an advantage.

Experience in planting and maintaining plants and arranging shop displays would be an advantage although training will be given.

Pay: From £12.75 per hour

Work Location: In person
