Full job description

Job Overview:

We are currently looking for a highly organised, experienced and commercially aware Shipping & Logestics Co-Ordinator to join our team in Ellon, Aberdeenshire.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with expereince in logestics, freight, shipping and supply chain operations who enjoys working in a fast paced environment and coordinating dometsic and international shipments efficiently and cost-effectively.

Duties:

Coordinating UK and International deliveries and collections
Mananging shipping and customs documentation
Liasing with freight forwarders, suppliers, and customers
Tracking shipments and resolving delivery issues
Supporting import / export compliance activities
Monitoring logestics spend and supporting operational efficiency improvements

What we are looking for:

Experience in logestics, shipping, freight forwarding, or supply chain coordination
Knowledge of import / export and shipping documentation
Strong organisational communication skills
Commercail awareness and cost-control mindset
Ability to manage multpile priorities effectively
ERP / SAP system experience beneficail

Qualifications:

Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in:
Logestics
Supply Chain Management
Business Administration

Certifications From:

CILT
BIFA
Customs / Import-exporting trianing

Experience:

Good working Knowledge of Incoterms and HMRC customs
Commercial awareness with the ability to identify cost-saving and efficiency improvements
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP / Logestics systems

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £32,500.00-£38,500.00 per year
