KITCHEN ASSISTANT WANTED

Join the team at Saucy Asian - where good vibes and great food come together.

SAUCY ASIAN
We’re a proud Scottish takeaway serving up banging Asian street food with a Scottish flair. Big flavours, bold vibes, and zero ego - that’s how we roll.

We’re on the lookout for a reliable, enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant with a can-do attitude and solid work ethic to join our busy team. No experience? No worries – if you’re willing to learn, we’ll show you the ropes.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Supporting our chefs with food prep (you’ll even learn how to handle a Chinese cleaver like a pro)
Washing up and keeping the kitchen clean, safe, and organised
Helping create some of our legendary Asian street food
Being a key part of the action during our busy evening service
Pitching in with stock checks and end-of-day close-down routines
Helping out with our Saucy Asian food truck at events and busy periods

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

A positive attitude and a willingness to get stuck in
Someone dependable, hard-working, and keen to learn
A team player who takes pride in doing things properly
Able to handle a busy service with a cool head and good humour

THE DETAILS

10–12 hours a week
Tuesday to Thursday: 4pm - 9.30pm. Friday to Sunday: 1pm to 9:30pm
£8ph (under 18), £10.85ph (18-20), £12.71ph (over 21) - higher rates may be offered depending on experience
