Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and energetic Early Years Support Assistant to join our vibrant team dedicated to nurturing young children’s growth and development. In this role, you will work 8am-2.30pm Tuesdays - Fridays and provide essential support within early childhood education settings, helping create a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment for children in their formative years. Your enthusiasm and commitment will directly contribute to fostering positive learning experiences and supporting the overall well-being of young learners. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in childcare, management, and leadership while making a meaningful difference in children’s lives.

Responsibilities

Assist lead educators in implementing daily activities that promote early childhood development and learning.
Support children with their individual needs, ensuring they feel safe, valued, and engaged during play and educational sessions.
Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment by adhering to health and safety guidelines at all times.
Communicate effectively with children, colleagues to foster positive relationships and ensure smooth daily operations.
Support staff in supervising children during outdoor play, meal times, and rest periods.
Contribute to the planning and delivery of age-appropriate activities that encourage curiosity, creativity, and social skills.
Participate in ongoing training opportunities to enhance childcare knowledge, early childhood education techniques, and leadership skills.

Skills

Experience working with children.
Excellent communication skills in English to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
Knowledge of early childhood education principles and best practices for child development.
Maintaining a positive attitude.
Passionate about childcare with a genuine desire to support children's growth through nurturing guidance and active engagement.
