NLC7 - £31,541 - £34,307 (pro rata) per year

Applications are invited for the above Disability Information Officer vacancy which is based within our Integrated Equipment and Adaptations service in Motherwell

You will have responsibility to provide support, information, advice and signposting to staff and service users on a range of social care and housing issues. You will work as a core member of the Making Life Easier development team and will work closely with partner agencies throughout North Lanarkshire.

You should have good organisational and communication skills and the ability to meet deadlines with minimum supervision. A high level of initiative is required and good knowledge of information technology is essential.

You have to have an SVQ Level 3 / HNC or equivalent in a relevant discipline and previous experience working directly with members of the public is essential. An SVQ in Administration/Communication and Information Technology is desirable.

You will require to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member prior to commencing in this role.

You must hold a current UK driving licence to apply for this role.

Work Pattern – 17.5 Hours

Week 1

Monday and Tuesday 08:45 – 16:45 (55 minutes unpaid lunch break).

Week 2

Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 08:45 – 16:45 (55 minutes unpaid lunch break).
