Commercial Partnership Executive

SITE: The O2 Belfast, part of the Odyssey Group
LOCATION: Queen’s Quay, Belfast, BT3 9QQ
RESPONSIBLE TO: Partnership Manager
TERMS: Nominal 37.5 hours per week, flexibility is required due to the nature of the role to include evenings & weekends
DATE: August 2026

OVERALL, PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The O2 Belfast, Northern Ireland’s premier indoor sports and entertainment venue, are seeking to recruit a new member to our Commercial Team. A new role, which will be key in supporting the delivery of commercial partnerships and operational activities across the O2 Belfast site, supporting the Partnership Manager to achieve a range of KPIs linked to partner engagement and delivering a premium experience.

Essential Criteria

A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role [such as commercial, partnership, account/sponsorship management, premium client services.]

A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role [such as commercial, partnership, account/sponsorship management, premium client services] PLUS a third level qualification in Business Administration, Hospitality or a related field.

AND

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to build rapport with sponsors, stakeholders, clients, commercial partners and colleagues.
Detailed orientated, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to coordinate activities across multiple departments and manage competing priorities.
Strong written communication skills, including the ability to prepare professional correspondence, reports and draft agreements.
Competent in the use of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel.
A proactive and self-motivated individual with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Commitment to delivering excellent customer service and embodying the BEET values.
Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings and travel as necessary.
Access to personal transport or an ability to attend external meeting.

Desirable Criteria

Experience within sports events or a venue based environment.
Proficiency in CRM software

Salary
Circa £27,500 per annum, dependent on qualifications and experience.
