Full job description

Pay: £13.00 per hour (Monday–Friday) | £13.50 per hour (Weekends)
Hours: 9:00pm – 7:00am (with breaks in line with Working Time Regulations)

We are looking for a compassionate, reliable and dedicated Night Care Assistant to join our friendly team at our residential care home for older people.

This role is for 2 nights per week, with additional opportunities to work extra shifts to cover annual leave and sickness. Hours to be discussed at Interview.

About the Role

As a Night Care Assistant, you will play an important role in ensuring our residents are safe, comfortable and well cared for throughout the night. You will provide high-quality, person-centred care while promoting each resident's dignity, independence and wellbeing.

Your responsibilities will include:

Providing personal care and support with daily living needs.
Assisting with continence care.
Supporting residents with mobility and repositioning where required.
Carrying out regular wellbeing and safety checks throughout the night.
Responding promptly to call bells and residents' needs.
Maintaining accurate care records and communicating effectively with colleagues.
Helping to create a calm, safe and reassuring environment for our residents.

Committed to delivering excellent standards of care.
Flexible to provide additional cover for holidays and sickness when required.

Previous care experience is welcomed but not essential, as full training will be provided.
