essional Family Practitioner - (Enabling Family Time) – Leeds and Surrounding Areas

ake a lasting difference for children and families We’re looking for a skilled and compassionate Family Practitioner to join our Family Services team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a vital role in delivering Enabling Family Time (EFT) – supporting children and families to build safe, positive and meaningful relationships.

13.63-£14.53 per hour

ocation:

emote working for administrative tasks
elivery in community venues, family homes, and local settings as required.

bout the role:

eliver safe, structured and high-quality family time sessions.
bserve, assess and report on interactions between children and family members.
rovide practical support and guidance to both children and parents.
romote positive parenting and address challenges such as co-parenting and engagement.
arry out risk assessments and act decisively to safeguard children.
anage a caseload, keeping accurate and timely records.
roduce professional reports that may inform court proceedings.
ork collaboratively with other professionals and attend court when required Your work will directly contribute to informed decision-making and better outcomes for children.

hat we’re looking for:

as experience working with children and families, ideally within safeguarding or family support services.
an confidently assess risk, make sound decisions and produce high-quality reports.
as strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with families, including those with complex needs.
s organised, able to manage a caseload and meet deadlines.
nderstands best practice frameworks (e.g. CAFCASS, NACCC).
s committed to continuous learning and professional development What you’ll bring.
strong commitment to child-centred practice and safeguarding.
he ability to balance support with appropriate challenge and professional authority.
