Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated Semi Skilled Labourer to join our team specialising in building and groundworks. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop practical skills across various construction disciplines. The successful candidate will be involved in assisting with diverse construction tasks, supporting skilled trades, and ensuring the smooth progression of projects. This position is paid and suitable for individuals eager to gain hands-on experience within the construction industry.

Responsibilities

Assisting with carpentry, roofing, and masonry tasks as directed by supervisors
Operating hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
Preparing sites by clearing debris and organising materials
Supporting construction work when required
Ensuring health and safety protocols are followed at all times
Maintaining a clean and organised work environment to promote safety and efficiency

Experience

Prior experience in construction or groundworks is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for those eager to learn
Knowledge of basic hand tools and power tools used in construction environments
Familiarity with carpentry, roofing, masonry, plumbing, welding, electrical work, or fabrication is desirable
Ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively as part of a team
Willingness to undertake physical labour in various weather conditions
A valid UK driving licence is preferred but not mandatory

Pay: £12.21-£20.73 per hour
