Security Gate Technician

Expotour Seg UK

Boar Lane, Leeds LS1 5EL, Leeds, West Yorkshire, UK

GBP 3,200 / month

About the Role

Expotour Seg UK is looking for a hands-on Security Gate Technician to install, maintain, inspect, and repair automated gates and access-control equipment. The successful candidate will help maintain reliable and secure entry systems.

Key Responsibilities

Install and maintain automated security gates.
Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and control-system faults.
Perform preventative maintenance and inspections.
Test sensors, motors, access controls, and related components.
Respond to breakdowns and service requests.
Maintain service documentation.
Follow electrical, safety, and security procedures.
Coordinate with site and security teams.

Qualifications

Technical qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automation, or a related field.
Experience with automated gates, access systems, or similar equipment.
Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
Ability to read technical diagrams.
Good safety awareness and attention to detail.
