NCO2 & NCO1 Team Required

Universal Gas Solutions is expanding and we are looking for experienced NCO1 and NCO2 Gas Operatives (Service Layers & Main Layers) to join our growing team.

If you're committed to delivering safe, high-quality gas network work and want to work with a supportive and professional organisation, we'd like to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out gas service laying and main laying activities in line with your qualifications and authorisations.
Work safely at all times, ensuring the safety of colleagues, customers, and the public.
Comply with all Universal Gas Solutions Health & Safety, Quality, and Environmental procedures.
Accurately complete and record all work undertaken.
Report accidents, incidents, and near misses promptly.
Attend toolbox talks and safety briefings.
Maintain a professional attitude and deliver excellent customer service at all times.
Demonstrate flexibility to meet operational requirements.
Be willing to travel to various work locations across the UK as required.
Be prepared to work away from home when project and operational demands require it.
Maintain a positive attitude towards working on nationwide contracts and supporting teams in different regions.

Essential Qualifications

NCO2 Applicants

EUSR SHEA Gas
NCO(2) Service/Main Laying Qualification (up to and including 355mm / 2 Bar)
NRSWA Operative Card

NCO1 Applicants

EUSR SHEA Gas
NCO(1) Gas Qualification
NRSWA Operative Card

Desirable Qualifications

ELR
SCO 1, 2 & 5
Domestic Meter Disconnection
Additional gas network competencies
