Vehicle Technician / Classic Car MechanicWork on vehicles seen in some of the UK's biggest TV & Film productions

Location: Near Bicester, Oxfordshire
Hours: 40 hours per week + Overtime
Salary: Competitive – Depending on Experience

From classic 1950s vehicles to modern-day cars, military vehicles, trucks and specialist vehicles, no two days are ever the same. If you're passionate about vehicles and want a role that's far more exciting than a typical workshop job, we'd love to hear from you.

The Role

We're looking for an experienced, enthusiastic Vehicle Technician to join our growing team. You'll be responsible for maintaining our unique and varied fleet, ensuring every vehicle is ready for its next production.

There will also be opportunities to attend TV and Film locations, provide on-set mechanical support, and help keep productions moving.

Your Responsibilities

Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on a wide variety of vehicles.
Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults.
Complete vehicle inspections and health checks.
Prepare and present vehicles for MOT.
Restore and maintain classic and historic vehicles.
Ensure vehicles are safe, reliable and production-ready.
Complete all relevant job sheets and paperwork.
Deliver and collect vehicles when required.
Provide occasional on-site support at TV and Film productions.
Work as part of a friendly and experienced workshop team.

What We're Looking For

You will be:

A qualified Vehicle Technician (City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
A time-served mechanic with solid workshop experience.
Reliable, punctual and proud of your workmanship.
A team player with a positive attitude.
Comfortable working on both classic and modern vehicles.
Able to work independently and solve problems efficiently.

Essential

Full UK Driving Licence.
Relevant mechanical qualifications.
Experience servicing and repairing a wide range of vehicles.

Desirable

Experience working on classic or vintage vehicles.
Welding or fabrication skills.
HGV or Class 2 Licence.
Experience with commercial vehicles or specialist vehicles.
