Job Overview

Join our vibrant team as a Play Area & Cafe Assistant, where your enthusiasm and dedication will create a fun, safe, and welcoming environment for children and families. In this dynamic role, you’ll be the friendly face ensuring the smooth operation of our soft play and cafe, delivering exceptional guest services while managing daily activities. Your energy and organisational skills will help foster memorable experiences that keep families coming back for more!

Duties

Welcome guests with warmth and professionalism, providing excellent customer service throughout their visit
Oversee the safety and cleanliness of the play areas, ensuring all equipment is secure and well-maintained
Manage the cafe area by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining hygiene standards
Assist in organizing activities and supervising children to promote a fun and safe environment
Handle guest inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure guest satisfaction at all times
Maintain accurate records of bookings, sales transactions, and safety checks
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and uphold high standards of hospitality

Requirements

Strong organisational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks efficiently
Minimum 3 years experience in hospitality/guest services or the retail sector
Passionate about creating positive experiences for children and families
Excellent communication skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor
Ability to stand for extended periods, lift light equipment, and perform physical tasks as needed
A proactive attitude with problem-solving abilities to handle unforeseen situations effectively
Commitment to maintaining a safe environment in accordance with health and safety regulations
