Perch Group are looking for a Management Accountant.

We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join our growing finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified or nearly qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) who is looking to take the next step in their career within a dynamic, data-driven environment.

You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality financial insight, taking ownership of management reporting, supporting month-end close, partnering with stakeholders, and supporting business decision-making.

So, what will your day-to-day look like?

Prepare and deliver monthly management accounts
Deliver variance analysis and insightful commentary
Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
Analyse large and complex datasets to provide actionable business insights
Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic decisions
Work closely with operational teams to understand performance drivers
Support with business partnering
Assist in improving reporting processes and systems
Deliver balance sheet reconciliations and ensure robust financial controls
Contribute to ad hoc analysis and projects as required

Does this sound like you?

Qualified or nearly qualified (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
3–5 years’ experience in a management accounting or similar finance role
Strong analytical skills with experience handling large volumes of data
Strong commercial awareness and experience in business partnering
Proactive, driven, organized and excellent communication skills with various levels of stakeholders
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, commercially focused environment

The Application Timeline

A first stage phone call with the internal talent acquisition team (15-minute call)
A face-to-face interview at the Blackpool office with the hiring managers (45 minutes – 1 hour)

This role is based at our Blackpool or Manchester office.
37.5 hours per week. We offer flexible and hybrid working between our core hours of 8am- 6pm, Monday to Friday.
