Healthcare Assistant/Spire London East/Bank Ad-Hoc Shifts

Spire London East Hospital has an exciting opportunity for Healthcare Assistant to join the Bank Team.

Duties and responsibilities:

To assist the multi-disciplinary team to provide exemplary care in a variety of hospital settings.

Undertake routine tasks related to individual’s health and well being
Assess the health and wellbeing needs of people whose needs are relatively stable and consistent.
Establish and maintain communication with people on routine care matter
Develop own and others’ personal development.
Monitor and maintain health and safety and security for self and others
Contribute to the implementation of services
Ensure own actions promote quality
Promote people’s equality, diversity and rights
Acknowledge the risk of Healthcare Associated Infections (HCAI) and understand own responsibility as agreed with line manager in the prevention and control of HCAI.

Who we're looking for:

NVQ Health Awards level 3 competence
Experience of planning work and acting under own initiative
Patient/customer facing experience
Working as part of a team
Awareness of health safety and hygiene and infection control
Possess the mandatory training requirements for role including infection control and health and safety competencies.
Possess Equipment and Medical Devices Competences
Computer literate and trained in Microsoft Office
English language to IELTS 7.0
