Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Online Academic Tutors to support students from Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 4. This role involves delivering personalised tutoring sessions via an online platform, helping pupils achieve their academic goals across a range of subjects. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for teaching, and experience working with children or in special education settings. This position offers flexible hours and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in students' educational journeys.

Responsibilities

Deliver engaging and tailored online tutoring sessions to students across KS1–KS4 levels.
Assess individual student needs and adapt teaching methods accordingly to maximise understanding and progress.
Support students in developing key skills, confidence, and motivation in various subjects.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and areas for improvement.
Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding student performance and development.
Utilise digital tools and resources to create interactive and stimulating learning experiences.
Foster a positive learning environment that encourages questions, curiosity, and active participation.

Experience

Proven experience in tutoring or teaching children across primary and secondary school levels.
Knowledge of curriculum requirements for KS1–KS4 subjects.
Experience working with children with special educational needs is desirable but not essential.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain concepts clearly and patiently.
Ability to adapt teaching strategies to suit diverse learning styles and abilities.
Prior experience with online teaching platforms or digital educational tools is advantageous but not mandatory. This role provides an excellent opportunity for passionate educators to contribute remotely while supporting students’ academic success through flexible scheduling and personalised instruction.

Pay: £18.00-£20.00 per hour
