CATERING ASSISTANT

37.5 Hours per Week | Monday to Friday | £14.80 per hour | London

Be part of a team that takes pride in delivering outstanding food and genuine hospitality every day.

At Houston & Hawkes, we're looking for a Catering Assistant who enjoys variety, works well as part of a team and takes pride in creating a welcoming environment for every customer. This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same, giving you the opportunity to support every part of the catering operation.

THE ROLE

Serve breakfast and lunch with confidence and enthusiasm
Provide friendly, professional customer service
Keep food counters replenished, fresh and beautifully presented
Support the chefs with light food preparation
Prepare meeting room refreshments and hospitality when required
Keep dining areas, service points and back of house areas clean and organised
Assist with washing up and maintaining a clean kitchen environment
Help with setting up before service and clearing down afterwards
Work closely with the wider catering team to deliver an exceptional customer experience

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

Previous experience within hospitality or catering is desirable
A positive, can-do attitude
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
A flexible approach and willingness to support different areas of the operation
Pride in delivering consistently high standards
