Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Packer Assistant Cleaner to join our dynamic team. This role involves supporting warehouse operations through packing, stock management, cleaning, and material handling tasks. The ideal candidate will possess a proactive attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Previous warehouse experience and mechanical knowledge are advantageous. All roles are paid positions, offering valuable hands-on experience within a busy logistics setting.

Responsibilities

Packing goods accurately according to order specifications, ensuring quality control standards are met
Handling materials safely and efficiently, including loading and unloading lorries using appropriate equipment such as forklifts
Managing stock levels through picking and packing items for dispatch or storage
Assisting with shipping and receiving processes to ensure timely delivery and receipt of goods
Organising stock within the warehouse, including stocking shelves and maintaining an orderly environment
Operating warehouse management systems to track inventory movements and update records
Conducting routine cleaning of the warehouse area to uphold health and safety standards
Supporting mechanical tasks related to warehouse equipment maintenance when required
Performing general duties related to warehouse organisation, safety checks, and cleanliness

Experience

Previous experience in warehousing or logistics is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for specific equipment use such as forklifts and warehouse management systems
Familiarity with materials handling, picking & packing, shipping & receiving processes
Mechanical knowledge or experience with warehouse machinery is advantageous
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during stock movement or loading operations
Experience with quality control procedures within a warehouse environment is beneficial
Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail and accuracy in order fulfilment
