Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and food production, with the ability to create exceptional dishes that delight our guests. As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring food safety standards are met, and leading a team of kitchen staff to deliver high-quality meals in a timely manner.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications.
Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient food preparation and service.
Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations.
Collaborate with management to develop new menu items and seasonal offerings that reflect current culinary trends.
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock.
Train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques, food preparation methods, and safety protocols.
Ensure the kitchen is organised, clean, and well-maintained at all times.
Handle any customer feedback or complaints regarding food quality or service promptly and professionally.

Experience
The successful candidate will possess:

Proven experience as a Chef in a restaurant or similar hospitality environment.
Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques.
A passion for cooking and creativity in developing new dishes.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in food presentation and preparation.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
