Full job description

We have an opportunity for a BPS Operator to join our team at our site in Loughton, Essex. Reporting to the Finishing Process Lead, you will be required to ensure that the BPS machine output is maximised and quality standards are maintained, whilst adhering to health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

To maximise the machines efficiency to produce consistently high output and quality.
Minor problem solving on the machine, identifying technical problems and suggesting solutions.
Liaise with BPS Seniors to ensure quality standards are met.
Ensure waste levels are minimised.
Escalate any machine malfunctions in line with escalation procedures.

Contract type : Permanent

Working hours : 24/5 Shift Pattern - consists of 3 crews of 12-hour shifts of either: 6.00 am to 6.00 pm; and 6.00 pm to 6.00 am, Monday to Friday rota. Attendance is 40 hours per week on average, including a 30-minute unpaid break plus a 15-minute unpaid break to be taken during the shift

Base location : Debden

Basic Salary : £40,117 per annum. Upon successful completion of a 6-month probation period, this will rise to £40,829 per annum.

Skills, Qualifications & Experience

Exposure to a manufacturing environment (desirable)
Minimum GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths & English
Able to complete required paperwork and PC literate (MS Office)
Experience of working in an industrial environment
Able to follow policies and procedures.
Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
Experience of finishing processes (Desirable)
