Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Painter and Decorator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming spaces through expert painting and decorating techniques, ensuring high-quality finishes that enhance the aesthetic appeal of residential, commercial, or industrial environments. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will contribute to creating inspiring, well-maintained spaces that meet client expectations and project specifications. Duties

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling holes, and applying primers to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
Apply paints, varnishes, wallpapers, and other decorative finishes with precision and care.
Use a variety of tools including brushes, rollers, spray guns, and scaffolding to complete projects efficiently.
Collaborate with clients and team members to understand project requirements and deliver tailored decorating solutions.
Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
Manage time effectively to meet project deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality.
Assist with minor repairs or surface preparations as needed to ensure a flawless finish.

Experience

Proven experience in construction painting or decorating is highly desirable.
Familiarity with different types of paints, wallpapers, and decorative finishes.
Strong communication skills in English for clear understanding of instructions and client interactions.
Valid driving license is preferred for transportation between job sites.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments.
Good physical stamina and dexterity to handle manual tasks throughout the workday.
Prior experience working on residential or commercial projects is an advantage.
