Full job description

The post holder will provide strong operational, clinical and quality focused leadership to staff within the NHS 111 Mental Health team working in collaboration with partners to deliver a GM wide service.

Utilise highly developed interpersonal skills to facilitate effective communication.
Maintain communication networks with service users, carers and partner agencies.
Provide operational leadership to NHS 111 Option 2
To work in collaboration with partners to deliver a GM wide service
Promote awareness of NHS 111 Mental Health services.
Demonstrate specialist clinical skills, provide supervision and model good practice.
Undertake risk assessments and implement risk management plans.
Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
Ensure service users receive information regarding confidentiality, records access, care plans, advocacy and complaints procedures.
Participate in complaint investigations and serious incident reviews.
Undertake audits and quality assurance activities.
Ensure compliance with professional standards, Trust policies and governance processes.
Support recruitment, supervision, appraisal, training and attendance management in line with trust policy.
Promote patient-centred care and staff development.
Maintain clinical records and ensure information governance compliance.
Support service development and NHS Forward View objectives.
Work flexibly including evenings and weekends.
