Full job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Office Administrator with expertise in credit control and sales support. The successful candidate will play a vital role in managing administrative tasks, maintaining financial accuracy, and supporting sales activities within our organisation. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong data entry skills and experience with accounting software to contribute to a dynamic team environment.

We are 200 meters to manchester fort + half mile to town

Must possess excellent verbal communication skills in english to deal with customers

and colleagues

Responsibilities

Oversee daily office administration, ensuring smooth operational workflows
Manage credit control processes, including monitoring overdue accounts and following up on payments
Support sales activities through lead generation, telemarketing, and client follow-ups
Utilise accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, and PeopleSoft for data entry and financial record keeping
Handle accounts payable tasks, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments
Maintain accurate records of transactions and customer information
Assist with analysing financial data to identify trends and discrepancies
Provide excellent phone etiquette when communicating with clients and internal teams
Collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless information flow and operational efficiency

Skills

Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, and PeopleSoft
Strong data entry skills with high attention to detail
Experience in credit control and accounts payable procedures
Excellent telemarketing and communication skills with professional phone etiquette
Analytical skills for financial data interpretation and reporting
Knowledge of the financial services sector is advantageous
Organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
Familiarity with telecommunication tools and office management systems

This position is integral to maintaining the organisation’s financial health and supporting its sales growth. The ideal candidate will be a motivated team player capable of handling diverse administrative functions efficiently.

Pay: From £22,464.00 per year
