Opportunity at RRG Toyota Stockport – MOT Tester Temporary 4 months
Salary from: £34,719.10 + OTE DOE FTE for a standard 42.5-hour work week, working Monday - Friday NO WEEKENDS. Additional hours and overtime opportunities available if required.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced MOT Tester to join our team.

We are seeking a qualified and reliable MOT Tester to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out MOT tests in accordance with DVSA regulations, ensuring vehicles meet all legal safety and environmental standards. The role also involves identifying defects, maintaining accurate records, and delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct MOT tests in line with DVSA standards and procedures.
Accurately assess vehicle roadworthiness and compliance with legal requirements.
Identify and report vehicle defects, faults, and necessary repairs.
Complete all MOT documentation and records accurately and efficiently.
Ensure all testing equipment is maintained and calibrated as required.
Adhere to DVSA regulations, company policies, and health and safety procedures.
Liaise with workshop technicians and service advisors regarding vehicle defects and repair requirements.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
Keep up to date with MOT testing standards, regulations, and industry developments.
Deliver excellent customer service and represent the company professionally at all times.

Requirements

Valid MOT Tester qualification and current MOT Testing Licence.
Full UK driving licence.
Good knowledge of DVSA testing standards and regulations.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication and organisational skills.
