Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Private Carer to provide personalised care and support to an individual in their own home. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a caring attitude, and the ability to assist with daily activities while promoting independence. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in clients' lives by delivering tailored home care services in a professional and respectful manner.

Responsibilities

Providing personalised care based on individual care plans, including assistance with daily living activities.
Supporting clients with medication management and health monitoring as required.
Assisting with light domestic tasks to maintain a safe and comfortable environment.
Driving clients to appointments, social activities, or errands in a safe and timely manner and access to own car.
Maintaining clear and professional communication with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals.
Ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations at all times during home visits.
Keeping accurate records of care provided and any changes in the client’s condition.
Qualifications
Valid driving licence with clean driving record.
Current clear DBS check and prepared to have enhanced DBS.
Previous experience working within a care home, with dementia patients or providing home care is desirable.
Knowledge of care plans and ability to implement personalised support strategies.
Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, for effective communication.
Basic IT skills for maintaining documentation and updating care records.
Excellent communication skills, demonstrating empathy, patience, and professionalism.
Ability to work independently whilst maintaining high standards of care. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about providing exceptional personal support and making a positive impact on clients’ quality of life through dedicated home care services.

Pay: £20.00-£25.00 per hour
