We’re looking for a Dog Groomer Trainee to join our team and learn the art of dog grooming from some of the best in the business! Whether you're looking to build a long-term career in grooming or simply want to learn a new skill, we’ll provide you with the hands-on training you need to succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Learn and Assist with Grooming: Under the guidance of experienced groomers, you’ll learn how to bathe, cut, and style dogs of all breeds and sizes.
- Dog Handling: Safely and gently handle dogs during grooming, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Customer Interaction: Communicate with dog owners about grooming services and their pets’ needs, providing excellent customer service.
- Maintain Cleanliness: Keep grooming tools, equipment, and stations sanitized and organized.
- Learn Dog Health and Grooming Techniques: Understand the basics of dog skin care, coat maintenance, and how to spot signs of health issues while grooming.
- Team Support: Help with general dog care (e.g., walking, feeding) when needed, and assist your team with tasks as you develop your skills.
Skills & Qualifications:
- No Experience Needed! We are looking for a motivated individual who’s passionate about animals and eager to learn.
- A love for dogs and a genuine interest in learning about grooming techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and a desire to provide excellent care for pets.
- Patience, kindness, and a calm demeanor when working with dogs.
- Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and customers.
- Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods and lift dogs when necessary.
