Receptionist & Administrative Assistant – Wakefield Trinity

About the Role

Wakefield Trinity are seeking a friendly, professional and highly organised Receptionist & Administrative Assistant to join the club on a full-time basis.

As the first point of contact for visitors, supporters, partners and suppliers, you will play a key role in creating a positive and welcoming experience while supporting the day-to-day administration of the club. The role will primarily support the Commercial Department but will also provide administrative assistance across all areas of the organisation.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
Flexibility required to support home fixtures and club led events, with time off in lieu provided where applicable.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the club reception area and welcome all visitors professionally.
Answer incoming telephone calls and respond to email enquiries.
Triage and direct enquiries to the appropriate departments across the club.
Provide administrative support to the Commercial Department and wider club staff.
Assist with diary management, document preparation and data entry.
Maintain accurate records and filing systems.
Process incoming and outgoing post.
Support matchday and event administration when required.
Assist with general office duties to ensure the smooth running of club operations.

About You

Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
Professional and presentable at all times.
Comfortable handling multiple tasks and prioritising workloads.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
A strong team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
Able to work independently and use initiative.

Desirable

Previous experience in a receptionist, office administration or customer service role.
Experience working within a sports, events or hospitality environment.
Knowledge of CRM systems and database management.
