Location: Northern Ireland (travel across UK & Ireland, occasional Europe)
Salary: £35,000–£45,000 depending on experience, with progression as you gain certifications and take on more technical scope

Our work spans UPS systems, EV charging infrastructure, Solar PV, Battery Energy Storage and integrated energy solutions, supporting critical environments such as hospitals, data centres, financial institutions and large-scale industrial sites. With over 40 years' combined industry experience at director level, we deliver technically demanding projects to a consistently high standard.

The Role

We're looking for a Field Engineer to join our Secure Power & Renewables division. This role suits an ambitious electrical engineer who wants to move beyond repetitive installs and build experience on larger, technically diverse power and energy systems with clear progression into specialist power and energy roles.

Key Responsibilities

Install, commission and maintain secure power and renewable energy systems
Work independently and as part of wider site teams on live projects
Liaise with clients, subcontractors and other trades on site
Support fault-finding, testing and commissioning activities
Participate in an on-call rota (approx. 1-in-4 weeks, additional pay for on-call periods)
Travel throughout Ireland, with occasional travel to the UK or Europe

Essential Criteria

5 years' experience in the electrical industry (preferred; strong candidates with less experience are still encouraged to apply)
Strong problem-solving and fault-finding capability
Good computer literacy and ability to complete site documentation
Clear communication skills and professional site presence
Full, clean driving licence

Desirable Criteria (Not Essential)

Experience with UPS systems, Solar PV, EV charging or battery storage
18th Edition Wiring Regulations
2391 Inspection & Testing
DC power knowledge
