Parcel Delivery Driver
Job reference: 336621
Location: Harrogate Delivery Office, HG1 4EE
Job type: Permanent contract
Hours: 30:00 hours per week, working 5 days across Monday - Sunday, working between 07:00am and 20:00pm

Due to operational demand, you will be required to work Saturday and Sunday, according to a local rota/plan.

However, it’s not just about driving and deliveries. Prepping your van and workload for the day, you will use route-planning technology tools, to ensure each parcel gets to the right place, at the right time. You deliver much more than parcels. A bit about you

Upbeat, self-motivated and thrive whilst working independently
Organised, punctual with great initiative
Committed to the delivery of great customer service
Comfortable interacting with customers, acting as a positive ambassador for Royal mail
Happy to work in the afternoon and early evenings
Enjoy a multi drop driving role, delivering parcels across the week in the assigned area
Possess a full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points

A guaranteed hourly rate of £13.06p/h / £15.50p/h (paid monthly and adjusted to your working hours).
Paid overtime, with an enhanced rate of x1.25 for any hours worked over 40 hours a week.
22.5 days holiday, rising with length of service (adjusted to your working hours if below 40 hours a week).

Please note: For candidate search purposes, roles offering between 35-40 hours per week are listed as full-time. However, any role under 40 hours per week will be classified as part-time in the employment contract.
