Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Practitioner to join our childcare team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting young children's development and learning within a nurturing environment. This position offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your management and leadership skills while working closely with children to foster their growth and curiosity. The role is fully paid and ideal for individuals committed to early childhood education and childcare excellence.

Responsibilities

Plan, deliver, and evaluate engaging activities tailored to the developmental needs of children aged 0-5 years
Support children's emotional, social, and physical development through nurturing interactions
Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment in accordance with health and safety regulations
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure high standards of care and education are consistently met
Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and team members regarding children's progress and wellbeing
Lead small groups of children during activities.
Assist in organising daily routines such as mealtimes, naps, and play sessions
Contribute to the ongoing assessment and documentation of children's development milestones

Requirements

Proven experience working with children within a nursery or early years setting (nursery experience preferred)
Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childcare practices.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment whilst demonstrating initiative.
A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their early learning journey
Relevant childcare qualifications or early childhood .
