Full job description

Due to continued growth, a well-established, independent Estate Agent located in a prime location within Melton Mowbray is looking for a Senior Sales Negotiator to join its team.

The successful candidate will be joining a thriving, local family business who sell properties throughout Leicestershire. The Estate Agent is prides itself on providing excellent customer service and with a wealth of industry experience, a great reputation for quality advice and a friendly team, the company ensure a positive experience to vendors and purchasers alike.

As the Sales Negotiator your duties will include:

Assisting the Sales Manager in the day to day running of the sales department.
Liaising with both vendors and purchasers to provide viewing feedback, obtain necessary paperwork and generally provide a good, quality service.
Speaking to Solicitors, mortgage advisors and surveyors etc to ensure property sales are proceeding in a timely fashion.
Answering the telephone to assist the general public, book in valuations & market appraisals.
Carry out viewings of properties on the market.
Carry out the odd valuation to cover holiday periods.

To be a successful candidate you will have the following skills and experience:

Experience within the industry.
Self-motivated with a 'can do' attitude.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Able to work on your own initiative and as part of a team.
Extremely well organised and able to prioritise your own workload.
Professional, positive, diligent and diplomatic.
Good people skills, approachable, willing to listen, fair.
Full, clean UK driving licence is essential.
Previous experience with the property sector is essential.

In return you will receive a basic salary plus commission, receive 28 days holiday per year, pension scheme and use of company pool car. OTE £35,000.
