Are you a friendly, welcoming individual with experience in dealing with the general public? Do you have exceptional communication skills with people of all levels?

Ashmore Grange Care Home is seeking a Weekend Receptionist to join us on this exciting new journey. Providing residential, respite, and dementia care, with 67 state-of-the-art rooms for residents to reside in, spacious dining and lounge areas, and so much more, we are excited to be bringing this opportunity to Lubbesthorpe!

As the first person visitors meet when they come to our home, your role is absolutely vital and you will be expected to welcome visitors in a friendly, professional manner.

What you will receive as a Weekend Receptionist;

£12.86 per hour
Part-time hours available, Permanent contract
15 hours per week, Saturdays & Sundays, 9am-5pm
Based in Lubbesthorpe

What you will be doing as a Receptionist;

Greet and respond to customer enquiries in a friendly and effective manner
Make sure all electronic records are maintained
Deal with incoming and outgoing calls to various third parties, including Doctors, Social Workers, Resident Families, etc.
Report any maintenance issues to the Maintenance Operative accordingly
Maintain petty cash records
Show visitors around the care home in the absence of the Manager
Provide general administration support to the Manager as required

What you will need to be successful as a Receptionist;

Experience working within a caring environment (not essential)
The ability to communicate well and make others feel welcome and comfortable
Willingness to develop new skills
A warm, friendly and calming disposition
Be IT illiterate with experience in using Microsoft Office packages.
