Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Operative to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a good background in maintenance. This role requires a proactive and dedicated individual who is looking to join a friendly team In a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

Complete daily job sheets set by Property Management.
Carry out repairs to occupied properties.
Work in void (empty) properties, getting them ready to let as quickly as possible.
Removals or Lifting may be required
Carry out gardening tasks
Carry out ad-hoc journeys to deliver keys or other items if needed.
Take before and after photos of work completed.
Feedback to Property Management on job completed or any issues faced.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing maintenance-related inquiries and concerns promptly.
Collaborate with team members to enhance operational efficiency and implement improvements as needed.

Experience

At-least 1-2 years experience in a maintenance role.
Ability to take instructions effectively.
Ability to carry out basic electrical and plumbing work.
Ability to decorate properties.
Ability to carry out general 'handy-man' related tasks.
Ability to lift and remove heavy items.
Ability to change locks is preferred
Ability to install electric showers and hobs are preferred.
Good spoken English, for effective communication within the team.
Strong problem-solving skills with a logical approach to troubleshooting.
Customer service must be to a professional standard.

The ideal candidate will have a diverse range of skills and will be a reliable and dedicated individual.

Full UK Drivers Licence is required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
