Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organisation within our hotel, ensuring a hygienic and welcoming environment for clients and visitors. Prior experience in commercial cleaning or hotel services is highly desirable. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who take pride in their work and enjoy creating tidy, comfortable spaces.

Duties

MUST BE AVAILABLE WEEKENDS and have a clear DBS

Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces
Maintain cleanliness of bathrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to high standards
Restock supplies such as toiletries, paper products, and cleaning materials as needed
Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored after use
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to ensure a safe working environment
Assist with specialised cleaning tasks as required, including deep cleans or specialised sanitation procedures

Skills

Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred
Strong attention to detail with organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Good physical stamina and mobility to perform cleaning duties effectively throughout the shift
Excellent time management skills to complete tasks within allocated timeframes
Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude towards work responsibilities
