Vacancy: Receptionist and Office Manager

We are currently recruiting for a receptionist and office manager. This key position will be based in our new Porth office, although may be required to cover at other offices.

GGP Law is proud to be a Lexcel accredited firm, which is a legal practice quality mark for client care, compliance and practice management. We are looking for a candidate who will help maintain and grow our excellent reputation for client care and expertise.

As a receptionist and office manager you will be responsible for positively promoting the Porth office locally and be the first point of contact for potential and existing clients to the office. You will be able to assist them in identifying their needs, identify and communicate key information, and connect them with the right department, first time. You will be responsible for the receipt and safekeeping of documentation and providing support to both clients and colleagues where needed. You will also be responsible for the opening hours, security, and liaising with the premises manager regarding the health and safety requirements within Porth Office.

You will provide a range of administrative support and be a key player in driving the success of the Porth office. You will be proactive and positive in your approach and ensure optimum efficiency. You will develop and maintain effective and professional relationships with clients, other stakeholders and local businesses relevant to the role you undertake. You will adhere to the strict confidentiality requirements associated with the role.

The ideal candidate will be friendly, a good organiser, great communicator, approachable and a team player. Previous experience of working in a legal setting would be advantageous, but not essential.
